Ohio defeats Penn 35-28 in the 46th Annual. 


Springfield’s Beau Brungard put on a slow for the fans once again, he finished the evening 4 throwing TD’s and 1 rushing TD.  


Brungard connected with West Branch WR Nick Wilson twice in the first half for TD’s.  A 8 yard reception then a 22 yard reception gave Ohio a 13-0 lead at half.  


The 2nd half was more scoring and entertaining, Penn started off with the ball and in the third play, Beaver Local’s Dorian Jackson picked off Penn QB. A few plays later, Springfield’s Beau Brungard finds Nick Wilson from West Branch again for a 3rd TD of the evening.  Ohio 19 Penn 0 8:41 3rd Q.


Penn would score 20 unanswered points. Ty McGowan from Moon finds Taite Beachy from Moon 48 yards out for a TD. And then those two connected again, Ty McGowan from Moon found Taite Beachy from Moon 22 yards out for a TD. And then Ty McGowan finds Kobe DeRosa from 4 yards out in the end zone, and then Taite Beachy converts with the 2 point conversion. Penn would take a 20-19 lead with 7:06 to go. 


Springfield’s Beau Brungard finds Columbiana’s Eddie Clancy for a 65 yard reception. Brungard then keeps it and scores from 5 yards out. Brungard then finds WB receiver Nick Wilson for 2 point conversion. Ohio retakes the lead 27-20 with 6 min left. 


Pennsylvania then retook the lead, Tate Beachy catches a 5 yard TD pass from Ty McGowan, Kobe Derosa with a keeper for the 2 point conversion. Pennsylvania leads Ohio 28-27 3 min left.


But then, Beau Brungard drives his team down the field to win another game.  Brungard finds South Range’s Dylan Dominguez from 11 yards out in the endzone, Aaron Groner catches the 2 PT conversion. Ohio defeats Pennsylvania 35-28.

West Branch’s Steven Marra named Ohio Defensive Player of Game.
