Ventura heading to Mount Union
On Thursday evening, Maplewood senior sharp shooter Marissa Ventura officially signed to Mount Union to continue her athletic / academic career.
Marissa was a leader whether it came off or on the court according to her Coach, She gave a lot of opposing coaches a headache and nightmare when it came to scouting especially St John HC, When Marissa was a sophomore she dropped 42 points, while hitting 10 3 pointers in one game. That also broke two single game records, The 42 point and most hit 3’s in a game.
Below our Austin Malutic put together a stat sheet of Marissa's high school career, whether it was honors or stats. Our Austin Malutic was also the one and only local reporter at the big event and to your right you can see his interviews with Marissa and her Coach.
